For those of us who are driving to the festival, I see that the NCAA track finals will be at CSU Sacramento this weekend. This promises to make parking a bit of a challenge.
I just talked to CSU and the parking structure to use for $2.75 a day is Parking Structure 1 right next to Capistrano Hall where the festival is (see link for map below). Enter on Sinclair Rd side (student entrance). There is a yellow ticket machine (5th floor I think) to buy a permit. The parking lots near the track will be $7 a day. The structure is not supposed to be used for track event parking and should be monitored by parking attendants. Just tell them you are going to the NDCA festival. We'll see how this works! Ann

Thanks for checking this out Ann. I see that you're from Sacramento also. I'll look forward to meeting you .
We actually have produced 50 parking permits for Friday, which will be handed over to Sara Smolen today (Thursday). You can park in the garage and then come in to registration to get a permit. I don't know if that's going to be enough for everyone or not. On weekends, parking is generally not enforced normally. The NCAA trials are not using the garage; I don't know if anyone will be monitoring the garage entrance due to the trials; it is not normally monitored. It is not being monitored as of 10:30am Thursday.
