Anyone try a K&K Big Shot pickup?

Thinking of getting this pickup - I just want a low-cost way to get my acoustic cello signal into my delays and other effects (no distortion, no overdrive).

Also, if you have tried this pickup, I'd like to hear how you mounted it onto your cello. I can't really tell from K&K's photos how the jack is mounted.

K&K twin spot

I recently picked up a K&K Twin Spot Classic (Big Twin), which I mounted under the feet of the bridge (instructions on website). I highly recommend it.

Does it affect the sound of the cello when not using the pickup?

Thanks! Will go for the Big Twin

Our band recently got the idea to try cello for one song, so now I actually have to get a pickup for my cello. I don't plan to put it under the bridge. I'm going to try something like this first:

Others have reported good results just sticking the pickup on the belly like that.

Now I just have to decide on a preamp and I should be good to go.
